Stevens Hospital Clinical Laboratory provides superior customer service focused on meeting the needs of our clients. Our dedicated customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Our team is committed to providing prompt, personalized service for physicians and their patients. When issues arise, client services investigates and strives for timely solutions with the best patient care in mind.
Our services include:
- Status of test results.
- Procedures for adding tests to specimens previously received.
- Specimen and special handling requirements.
- Patient laboratory reports.
- STAT services.
- Requests for supplies and courier pick-ups.

The laboratory is located immediately on your left as you enter the hospital from the east entrance, directly across from the outpatient admitting department. Although the main laboratory is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the reception desk is staffed from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Please note that for patients who might come to the laboratory outside these hours there is a phone by the door with instructions for contacting staff.

When visiting a Stevens Hospital laboratory patient service center, patients/customers should bring the following information with them:
- The Stevens Hospital laboratory test request form from a physician requesting the laboratory tests.
- A current insurance identification card (Medicare, private insurance or HMO/PPO).
- A photo ID for urine drug screenings or blood alcohol tests (for example, a driver's license or an employee identification badge).
