Diabetes Services

More than 16 million Americans have diabetes, and the incidence is increasing. One out of three people who have it don't even know it! At Stevens we have a diabetes education program to help people and their families learn to live successfully with the disease and maximize their health.

Diabetes Association Logo

Stevens Hospital has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association for quality self-management education. This program, consisting of both individual and group classes, has the goal to provide education so that patients can become independent in the daily management of diabetes. This program focuses on helping you make lifestyle changes to control your blood sugar and decrease your risk for developing complications.

Day and evening classes are available, and a physician referral is required. Please call 425.640.4395 for more information.
