Insurance

If you have supplied us with your complete and current medical insurance information, Stevens Hospital will bill your insurance. Please bring your current insurance card with you each time you come to the hospital for services. Keep in mind that most, but not all, medical professionals providing services to you while at Stevens Hospital are contracted with the same insurance plans as the hospital. Most patients have medical insurance that covers all or part of their charges, but policies vary on which services are covered. If you have a question about how your insurance company will process charges for a service or procedure, or if you have questions about how they paid a claim, please contact your insurance company or review your benefits handbook.

For third-party insurers for motor vehicle accident claims or a homeowner’s policy for personal injury claims, you must provide complete and accurate information in order for us to submit a claim. We will bill third-party carriers as a courtesy; however, the patient remains responsible for the entire balance.
