Stevens Foundation
The Stevens Hospital Foundation offers two types of opportunities for donors to participate in providing financial support to Stevens Hospital. Donors may make financial contributions to the special events hosted by the foundation, and they may contribute to the Annual Giving program.
Special Events
Special events highlight a hospital department and raise supplemental funds to provide the most advanced equipment for that department. The events are fun and bring together the Stevens Hospital community of supporters. The funds raised may be used toward the purchase of specific capital requests. In past years special events such as the Do Good Golf Classic have raised funds for new digital mammography equipment and new cardiac monitoring devices. This year the Do Good Classic will provide funds to enhance the Mother Baby Unit at Stevens Birth Center.
Annual Giving Program
The Annual Giving program provides support across a variety of hospital departments. The foundation works closely with the hospital administration to identify the most pressing budgetary needs. Annual Giving allows the foundation the flexibility to supplement the hospital budget's most pressing needs. Annual Giving supports programs including cancer care, cardiac services, women’s health and emergency services. This year the hospital has requested funding for ultrasound and diagnostic equipment. The Foundation Board of Trustees strongly encourages donors to participate in our special events, such as the Do Good Classic, as well as support the hospital through the Annual Giving program. Both provide much needed, much appreciated assistance.
